Production Supervisor
Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production department. This role involves supervising and coordinating the activities of production workers to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes. The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards and fostering a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Ensure hourly data on the SIC board is collected, collated, and analysed in conjunction with the Manager. Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner.
- Start/End of day data collection and input into relevant spreadsheets.
- Liaise with Manager to put plans in place to negate deficit within the productivity output.
- Work with the Production and Warehouse Manager to manage all aspects of employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies, resolving workplace concerns, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time.
- Assist in presenting induction & training new staff and developing Grade 2 & 3 Ops. Present weekly training modules
- Maintain accurate training records in order to evidence full BRC compliance.
- Monitor all staff movements throughout the shift, identify over/under staffing and liaise with Supervisor.
- Evaluate incoming orders and set up production lines accordingly.
- Optimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality. Drive the team to meet plan and have a desire to succeed and move forward with the business.
- Assist in producing physical contingency plans – Flow charts, RCA etc
- Have constructive input into weekly team meetings.
- Promote a professional approach and always adhere to company policy, including confidentiality, impartialness and display a positive attitude at all times.
- Help implement quality KPI improvements.
- Implement, monitor, and report on quality improvement projects.
- Act as first point of contact for any Production Staff queries.
